The Llama’s Awesome Spread: Coffee with a College Dropout

The No-Drama Llama wandered down his lovely spread—outside his room. The light-filtered hallway upstairs he had once stumbled over. But this is another story, perhaps, for another time!

The expression on his face was generous, and the alcoholic beverages said it all. Though the morning itself was dear to his heart, he would feel like a beer, but he imagined Precious the Cow not to be in the exact position to share a pint.

He did three push-ups. Precious expected more.

Rather, the llama would summon yet another no-drama episode for you, folks.

Tea and espresso were served.

He drank the few sips of coffee that his stomach could handle.

On the other hand, Precious the Cow, a former PhD student who had dropped out, gazed around and wondered how much learning a llama could possess in his chill space.

“So, how does it feel to drop out of college?” the Llama asked.
A simple question that might have caused Precious to sigh inwardly.
Instead, she smiled.
“Like the warmth of a fireplace stone, Llama.”
The Llama nodded.
“Sometimes wisdom comes with a degree. And sometimes, it comes without one.”
“What do you mean?” the Llama asked.
“When life gives you aid, you journey through the unknown,” Precious replied. “The uncertain cannot be avoided. Explore uncharted territory, and you may be amazed by the wonders of the world.”
“What if it doesn’t?”
“Then you chill by the fireplace that life has given you.”
“And what is that, precisely, Precious?”
“Being fortunate to be alive, perhaps. Warmth. Energy.”
“So you’re saying you managed your energy after dropping out?”
“Time is a continuum. It exists so that nothing happens all at once.”
“Unless…” the Llama pointed upward.
“Exactly.”
“So I’m guessing I am the fireplace stone?”
“Maybe not.”
She took a sip of tea.
“But you are chill as f***.”

Peace up!
