In her voice

He uncovered an ember

And she moved about

He knew that his knife was still in her hands, and the distant roosters began to crow. The wind changed its direction and the waves ruffled about. The light of a little candle a wonderful way to keep track of an intimate moment. For she functioned to the best of her ability, and he did not do less than his best. And they spoke of what they would do as soon as he found her legs. He was a well-liked man and her knife would take their arrangement watching her skirt and waist. Aggressiveness and vigor still cautioning his neck with the tip of her blade.

…They worked among the shadows.
