Setting them down as rich people, I go along to see what kind of joy may develop.

They knew my simplicity, goodness and truth. 

And, since early morning was now over and business was flourishing.

I reflected: I had once for a short time been part of a great world.

And my whole subsequent life will be memory and longing for audacity. 

Perhaps life reaches into a secret place somewhere in the cosmos, until, at last, simplicity and daring flatten the almost valueless lusts of life.
